Use of the pageEdit
This page can be used to post anything related to the wiki, whether suggestions, questions, concerns, etc.
Use the "add topic" button in the top right to write a comment on a new topic, and start the post with the topic, written as such: ===topic=== (replacing topic with the topic you are covering). If you are only responding to an existing post, use the edit link that appears beside their topic. Use colons (:) to indent your post to the level past what you are replying to (for instance, put 1 colon (:) before each line in a reply to an initial post, and 1 more colon (ie. :: in reply to :) for replies to replies).
If you accidentally mess up the formatting, don't worry. Others can fix any problems. However, when fixing someone else's mistakes, limit yourself to spelling and formatting. Avoid editing someone's post in any way that might change the meaning or content. XAthangX (talk) 18:10, May 12, 2015 (UTC)
If you feel bold and want to edit the entire page then you may click on the Contribute button and select Edit this Page. If something goes wrong after the edit cancel it or undo the changes afterwards. Nothing can go wrong that can't be fixed.

Suggestions or IdeasEdit
I am making this section so anyone who wants to can comment with suggestions and ideas for how to improve the current plan.
My current plan is this: I will duplicate each page and create 2 separate pages, one for each version of Astrox, as well as a redirect page at the original page name. The new pages will be named in this format: Market (Standalone). This will also give us a good way to add on Astrox 2 if or when it is made. This pretty well takes care of the structure.
Lastly, I intend to protect the old (Kong) pages. I'd set them to not be editable by new users. Since there should be very little content still to add to those pages, I hope this will serve to cut down on the undos and corrections needed because of the slightly convoluted organizational structure. For instance, a new contributor won't be able to accidentally add new ships to the Ship (Kongregate) page.

Compare items of different qualityEdit
Suggestion may be erased by the admin, however the number in the example below and the one in the tables are different.
An example is http://astrox.wikia.com/wiki/Market#Active_Modules:.C2.A0, then click on the heading: http://astrox.wikia.com/wiki/Mining_Lasers
During the travel through space you encounter lots of items found after battles or inside crates.
It could be worth mentioning how valuable they are to the player and sometimes. I have been thinking on a table comparing
Normal items, Rare items, Epic items and Artifact items, but also just comparing a few and giving points.
I.E. a normal Assault Blaster with normal ammo
- Energy 0.9
- Damage 25
- Rate of fire 1.5
- 25 / 1.5 = 16.67
While an Artifact Assault Blaster
- Energy: 0.4
- Damage: 37.5
- Rate of fire: 0.75
- 37.5 / 0.75 = 50
This means the Artifact is 50 / 16.67 times better and even more if energy is counted.
To make the table this would take ages as we need to discover them first, but to give points similar to the example I give you here it is enough with one playthrough in the game
discovering enough items.
- No need to discover them: we already have. Go to the market page, and go to the section (ie. mining lasers) and then click the section title. That takes you to the item type page. This page shows the stats of each item for each level (basic through artifact).
- Also, I made spelling fixes to your post, hope you don't mind.

Inside the station there is a Refine page. This page was named something else long ago in earlier builds
In 1.0 / Build 60b this is named Refine. The information about this page is missing on this wiki and I suggest it is added.
Content on the Page when added:
Then a table showing the possibility to sell and refine
Refining is very costly so sometimes it is better to buy refined goods and then sell asteroids, either as part of jobs or to a well paying station.
Anyway what is missing, if refine information is added, is how much goods are refined from i.e. 100 Lokken and what materials appear.
The laboratory page includes some information and the table is a good example, but there could also be one table on the refine page showing material refined from an asteroid and the price payed. I have learned that refining is expensive and mining 1000 Dynex is a very bad idea. Mining and refining cheaper asteroids could be a good idea if you don't want to search for the goods, but the amount is sometimes not worth it. Better to visit som stations and buy it.
- The pages are not meant to be all the pages of the stations. They should only exist if they contain useful, unique information (or at least this is the guideline I have been following.) As such, that information is actually under the Asteroids page. It is also partially replicated on the Laboratory page.
